Lol...yeah, most of the trucks turn ~3200-3500. Built trucks will run in the 3800-4500rpm area...and MOST competitive sled pulling trucks run in the 5000-6500rpm area (depending on build and track conditions).
Ive had been driving my truck for so long...that when I got my car for the first time up over 5000rpm I was freaking out waiting for it to shift...dummy!!!

I don't pull myself but I was told ill fit the 2.6 class of a local pull with that turbo (friend has same turbo on 12v). I like a challenge so making power with something everyone says you can't makes it that much better.

Lol your not kidding. Man that thing sings too. Same thing I was thinking 3,000+. Last pull I went to he was there with Scheid and Haisley and all the big names and put them to shame. Not easy to do as you know. Seems like he's got a top notch program to get that truck transferring that to the dirt.

If you had basically a unlimited "Budget" youd be knocking off Haisley and Scheids as well.
Nice to find a fellow diesel junky here amongst the elite.

I'm running the redline now. SUCKS on the street but as soon as she starts building some RPM and the boost comes in she's golden. I've got a TST Comp i run at times (usually over the summer when work is busy). Believe it or not i still tow pretty heavy with this setup. Pulled 21,245 combined last week but i've gotta drive like there's a bomb under the pedal and manual shift the auto trans. GV overdrive helps a lot too splitting the gears.

That's really good for a 475...nice job.
