Whoaa guys, I didn't know dodge neons pissed you off that bad.. lmfao. Been busy with other things lately, like my boilers circulator and main pumps seal failing, leaking nasty water all over, and having to have my garage hacked apart to repair roof damage from freezing rain, well, freezing right under my shingles. Just never ends around here. Like others posted, I am taking this way to serious for a dodge, let alone a race. I will see if he wants to arrange something sooner, before you guys die from waiting to see this dodge get its azz handed to it (I hope)!!! Lmao. I will also see if he'll come over tonight if he can. I want to take pics to make sure its what he says it is. I'll update when I find out, hang in there guys.

Got some pics, and some videos, no race though yet!
Stock Turbo?
And the videos. First one is from a roll, 2nd from a slow start, with loads of spin. He actually shifted into second while spinning. And both of these are with 4 people in the car, about 800-900 pounds extra. He had an empty tank though so that helps even it out a little. Also, this is all back to stock tune, so no 22 psi. Bad comparison, I know.
Unfortunately I don't think we will race, as he is starting heavy modding next week, and I am starting my conversion any day now, just waiting on wheels. He said he is going for 650 WHP, like the white one you saw earlier, but that one ran about 550 wheel.

Lol wow... How old are you? I wouldn't be caught even driving passenger in one of those. Even if it runs 8's there junk man... Get into a real turbo car like a supra if you wanna here turbo an wastegate noises haha.

I don't know.. I always kinda liked em lol. They look better than the riced out Hondas and have an awesome exhaust note especially on deceleration. The factory stage 1, 2, and 3 thing was pretty cool. Even though at the end it's still a fwd neon, I will always have a bit of respect for them. After all it is the amg of neons lol

Forget the naysayers. SRT-4's can be pretty quick cars with a few modifications, and the horsepower is cheap. I find it to be a good, affordable car for someone who only cares about modding to be fast. A stage 3 hung with my mildly modded Evo VIII and my buddies highly modded SRT-4 was neck and neck with my highly modded SRT-8. Stock turbo will be the bottleneck in his system, and you should take him at this point. If he upgrades the turbo at 22psi, it will be a drivers race.
