sounds like he sent ya pm trying to fix the problem in a suitable way. But you didn't help out... So imop its a good thing he made this thread to warn others... Just because some dummy screwed you over in the past with the wrong part makes that ok to do to another member? Lol its retarded... Gove him his money back, find out what car that part number really fits and sell it again to someone that actually needs it. Simple fix.

Calling it a "scam" may be a bit harsh, but I agree. Berti, you are in the wrong here. It is immaterial that you bought the wrong part or got screwed buying a part. You can't just pass it along to the next guy. That's like the reverse of "pay it forward", its like "screw it forward". IMHO you are gonna lose this one.

It doesn't matter if you invented the internet. If you sold the incorrect item and misreprsented the part number you are in the wrong. He tried to correct it with you already and you refused that's why he started this thread you left him no choice.

Berti is a good man and seems to always be polite and helpful im sure this is frustrating coming on the forums and seeing a thread started about you (Berti) and not in a good way. That would tick a lot of people off but im sure he will do the right thing and bit the bullet and refund the man his money or at least figure out a solution to make the problem go away. Sucks though it had to come to this on for both forum members, Good luck Guys!!!!

Berti... I really cant even imagine what your logical thinking could possibly be on this transaction. Step up and refund him his money. An eye for an eye when he wasnt the one that burned you in the 1st place is not how business or LIFE for that matter is done.

You look like a complete a__hat coming on here and actually saying "whatsup man, long time no see" to someone else all while not taking care of the problem.

Fix it before it gets worse Berti.

Unfortunately, sometimes that is the cost of doing business as the selling party. The buyer should have the full amount refunded, no questions asked. Do the right thing before it gets worse.

Seller has to "man up." It doesn't matter if you're a long time member or not.

I have received a text from Albert saying that he will refund my money "in a few weeks". Not exactly what I had in mind but it is a start. Until I receive the refund I hold my position and will certainly not do business this way again. As some have pointed out I shouldn't have deposited the money directly into his account. He SEEMED like a trustworthy guy. I hope he rights this wrong and if he does I will be the first to let you all know. Thanks for your time and understanding.

Why would I want the pump? It doesn't go to my car. I will send it back and you can sell it to someone else. Just please use the correct part number when representing the unit. It is a 211-800-01-48.

As you can see he has refunded the money and I will be shipping the pump back to him today. It is a shame it went down like this but at least he came through in the end. Thanks again for the time and understanding everyone.

+1. Reputations take a long time to build, but are lost in a flash.

It seems you refunded already, but above comes off different from below. Not trying to start anything but I understand the OP's purpose for the post. If you just refunded and not type what you did below, you'd be better off.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I am glad you did the right thing Berti.

I can say that I have personally done business with him that went seamlessly and I would not hesitate to do business with him again .
