Now THERE is an example of an intelligent, well reasoned discussion... and I agree with quite a few posters that while I looove my E55 and know it'll spank most any Ferrari from a dead stop... it ain't a Ferrari and never will be one... and I'm STILL always going to want a 360 or an F355 spyder. As one poster said, it's utterly apples and oranges. The Ferrari isn't at all a daily driver... it's for track days and the occasional weekend jaunt when the weather is nice and you want to go for a drive. As good as MB is, it will never have the soul the Ferrari does and won't ever envelop the driver the way the Ferrari does. IMO that is a GOOD thing, because when I'm on my way to work in the morning I don't WANT to be that involved with the drive. I prefer the Benz which is a much better all-round vehicle.
