Full coverage except parts of "normal wear", 48months or 48k miles, whichever comes first

Sounds exactly like what I have - full coverage - only wear items are not covered.

I got my through my credit union - ever thing I have ever had done I have had paid no questions asked. I have had it for 2 years and I think have they so far have covered about $4500 ish. But I would consider that to be higher as I get it done at the stealership and I know they over charge for everything.

I think as long as you get the warranty for a reasonable price - they definatley pay for themselves.

Oh - and make sure you get the PPI - thats worth it too!

Its like playing blackjack with having two face cards..

Good luck

How many miles do u have on your car?
When it starts falling apart? (if it does, I heard these cars are quite reliable?)
My previous vehicle (bmw x5) started having lots of problems after 100k mls, what is PPI?
Thanx in advance

I got my car with 42K on the clock. It now has about 61K..

PPI = Pre Purchase Inspection

I think its more the fact - there is SOOO much on these cars - ie they have 2 to 3 times more complex parts for running everything - thats what makes it more indepth to repair. But so far I think my car has been very reliable.

Nothing has ever left me stranded (other than me leaving the lights on for a day - coming back to a dead battery).

Basically had 3 of the keyless go door handles die - and 2 pulleys replaced.
And this last go around - had some adapter replaced - for the Nav Ant. - which I read up on how to fix it but figured why not use the warranty and get new parts -thats what its for right?

Note - the warranty on my paper work was clear that it was "covers all BUT..." and the list was small...belts, bulbs, pads, Shocks...etc.

I do know that I have seen people getting mixed answers regarding if the "airmatic" suspension is covered - some have had it covered as its not suppose to be a wear item and others have lost that battle..

Hope that helps answer your Q's

Cheers
JPC

Whatever you do avoid MBPI aftermarket warranty. They are the worst period!!
