Picking up a 04 E55 this weekend

Checked out a Few E55's , saw a Grey one I liked. Going this weekend with a good Friend of mine whose a Mercedes Tech to give it a good look over..

But my Question is, Ive been looking to upgrade the IC pump and the Heat exchanger ( Front Mount Intercooler ), I know about the Johnson CM30/90 .. But i cant seem to find any decent Priced Heat Exhangers.. What are my Options ?

Besides that What are my options for a Upgraded Heat Exchanger ? What else should i upgrade in the cooling department ? Thermostat ? Waterpump ? and what are all the brands out there ?

Thinking of Doing those two things first before i Venture into any major mods.

I searched and couldnt find a solid answer

Thank You

Make sure you check the fuel pump and sending unit for residue. Takes 5 minutes.

As well as doing the HE/ IC pump, you should split the cooling system. PLM actually offers a HE too.

Congrats and welcome to the family, we have front mounts in stock and ready to ship. We run Meziere Electric pump with it, CM30 or the new Bosch 010.

The nitrous ring will obviously not be on the heat exchnagers.

We also have 1 trunk tank left that will split your radiator and I/C cooling so you can pack ice at the track or on the street for some spirited runs in Mexcio:

How does the PLM one compare to the EC one. I could nor find anything on its surface area size over stock.
