Sorry buddy, I use to live in Natomas for over a year and I couldn't find any shops in the Sac area that I trusted to do work on my E55.

The only good shops that I know about are KarToys in San Jose and Sonic in Mt. View, both shops are pretty expensive but you get what you pay for with them.

Check with Diamond AutoSport...

http://www.diamondautolife.com/luxury-cars-sacramento/

A few friends have had some work done there, and their quality seems to be good.

I had mine done at Sonic Motorsports in San Jose this summer. Excellent customer service and results.

They outsource the calipers to be painted so be prepared to have them keep your car a few days.

Speak to Darwin.

Imho and experiences- it is essential to have the calipers taken off in order to yield the best results, so the paint job is thorough inside and outside the calipers including areas you wouldn't see once they are mounted back on (just viewing from the outside of the car looking into the wheel, etc). Also they allow the calipers to dry well and completely on all surfaces. lastly, if the shop is not detail oriented and tape off your wheel well and all areas in there, you risk overspray etc.

That being said, I have seen in forums where some really tech savvy guys have done this themselves, taping everything in the wheel well and painted their calipers while on the car without having to remove them... Guess it depends on the shop's reputation, perhaps some one in here familiar with them can chime in to confirm.

Since I'm not a DIYer, I paid a premium to get mine done, around $800 if I recall correctly. Yes, that's an insane price :-( some guys had really good results on their Bentley and M3's where I got my done, so I just took the hit on the price knowing my car and the wheel caliper paint job would be treated with the utmost care.. YMMV

Hope that gives some perspective, good luck.

I removed the calipers (and hangers) from my B5 S4 and had them powder coated at SRS Industrial Coatings. I chose "Shocker Yellow" for my color, which was a bit more expensive. They kept all machined surfaces and tapped holes clear of paint, and they turned out awesome for $400.
I would strongly recommend removing the calipers, or AT THE LEAST, unbolting the caliper and putting it into a position that is easier to paint with less possibility of over spray on other components.
