I want to paint these bad boys Lamborghini Green, I took them by California wheels and they quoted me at 450 but they said they wouldn't be able to repaint the logo and engraved lettering black. I need a shop that can do both.
Anyone know of a shop in the bay area please let me know.

there was a place in SJ but I can't remember the name of the shop.
You can try call Ken/Bill at MotorSpeed West in Santa Clara for a recommendation. I trust these guys 100% and they have been in the valley for over 20 years.

The finished product, Sonic wasn't able to save all the lettering but they were able to copy the Main Logo. I Purchased the AMG and MB Star Logos off EBay and slapped them on afterward. It looks legit so I'm satisfied.

OK so I have to ask - where did you get those and what are you putting them on ? Have you used them before and if so, how well do they work ?

I orded them from HorsePowerFreaks.com back in 2009, Im running them on a 2006 E55, Payed 9,200. They preform really good but the pads it came with were racing pads so when they got hot the would squeak until they cooled down witch was a real Game Killer rolling up the the clubs. I just installed the standard ceramic pads, witch ran me another 450 bucks. I haven't driven the car yet but the standard pads should do the trick.

Wanted to revive this thread and get some suggestions for a shop in the San Jose area to help paint my calipers (I'm not a DIY guy)
What are going rates for a good job, assuming they are also going to have to bleed the brakes since the calipers are removed to paint as well. How long is the car at the shop for?
Any feedback on the process is much appreciated

Thanks TC... My buddy did come by the new shop in Milpitas and spoke to them. Seems like they know the Benz and BMW's well, however, we're looking to do the painted calipers on our Benz and both 911 Porsche Turbo cars and I'm hesitant as my friend reported there were many young guys in early-mid twenties so we don't know their skill level working on the Porsche cars specifically. This may not be the same excellent crew as when their shop was in mountain view..
They said they outsource to someone to get them painted and the cars will need to be kept 2 days at least for the process. My concern is will they know how to remove the calipers on a Porsche and appropriately flush the brake fluid correctly and reassemble the calipers? Our cars are under warranty and Porsche is very **** for any modifications, so if the calipers are not put back in correctly and brake parts screwed up somehow, we may be screwed if some problem happens, etc. The fee for the painted caliper is $800 he was quoted.
Other thing is I was hoping to find a direct source who will paint the calipers and not having to be outsourced as Sonic reported they do. Don't mind to pay the charge but as we're specific and somewhat **** on how our cars are handled, we want to ensure the job is done right.
Lastly what's the difference btw painting calipers vs powder coating - pro's/con's ..most shop and DIY forums talk about ceramic painting and it seems to work fine so I am curious..
Hoping to find more options to compare and contrast the shops..thanks again!

If I had to make a decision amongst those 3 choices - I'd opt for "blue".
I have had silver MB's the last few years and I think it will add a unique contrast to your silver exterior (yellow- kinda standard/boring, green- not my thing)..
