Are those spacers on the left to lift the blower so that thing will fit?

Wow those are some thick spacers. I'll have to measure my spacers but I know they aren't that thick. I've got the exact same setup waiting to be tested out. Any idea when your putting it on so Jerry can figure out bypassing the bypass valve. Blowoff valve was my first idea

We've been talking to Jerry about it for awhile, he should be ready once we are. I think I'm going with a Whipple bypass valve. I've got to talk to them a bit more before I commit to that route. Now if our TB's were after the SC outlet then it'd be a bit easier. Steve, let me know if you end up needing bigger spacers, I have unlimited access to a bunch of CNC machines.

I've got a whipple bypass valve I could try out I guess. Ill let you know if I need a thicker spacer after we do some test fitting. Patrick (PTE) had those made for me last year but I didn't get a chance to try them out. Can't wait to see how your car responds to it.

I pretty interested to see how violent the bypass will bring the power on vs. the electronic TB the factory uses.

It'll be ran all the time on my car, hopefully we can get the mechanical bypass setup to make it drivable.

Cls63 & C32
Guys you don't need a bypass valve, the c32 don't have a bypass valve from factory and have more boost, if the tb were after the sc then the bypass valve is a must.

How do you plan on getting the air box to line up once the blower is lifted?
Or do you plan on going with a custom intake...

Nice job BTW, never even thought of that approach.

I can imagine it being custom. The approach is definitely interesting, it should work well.

Looks like the combi valves will be blocked as well?

True, but I want to run one. Keep in mind it'll be a mechanical valve and it'll be completely closed under boost, so the engine will be making max boost.

I already have a custom intake so that's not an issue.

combi valve? If you're talking about the air injection, yes it's already been removed on my car.

The nice thing is with the spacers we don't have to keep using the block off plates we made. They're kind of a ***** getting lined up when we put the SC back on every time.

When i look at the IC, It looks great and big, It has the same concept as the CLK55 IC, no 2nd TB or bypass. There is one tuner here in the UAE, they tune the 55s (E, CL, CLS, G) for changing the stock IC to the CLK IC.

Great project, how much has it cost so far?
