Lug bolts for drag wheels
Having an E55 previously I know all you guys are crazy in here so thought this would be the best place to ask. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have a set of rear wheels for my '12 CLS63 that I have some MT mounted on that I swap out when I want to have some fun. This means I'm taking off and retorquing the lug bolts quite a bit. Which lug bolts will hold up best to this? Any particular material I should be looking for? Or is everyone just using oem bolts? How often should I change out the rear bolts to keep from running into excessive stretching or possible shearing from stress?

Are you using MB oem wheels or aftermarket? MB factory wheels use a ball seat lug bolt where 99% of aftermarket wheels use a cone seat lug bolt. You must use the correct style for the wheel.
Not my vid and kinda corny but explains what I'm talking about

Thanks, wasn't sure so thought I'd ask. Titanium bolts sound nifty, but at $500 rather silly even if they lasted forever. The wheels I have use ball seats. The TSWs I'm looking at for another cars setup uses cone though.
