The search feature here will unveil a wealth of information.

The costs of maintaining one of these cars largely depends on how much work you can do yourself and how well the car was maintained by the previous owner(s)

If proper service is performed over time, the car should not cost you much more than owning any other premium European car.

2011 E550 - 4Matic, 2008 ML550
So far this year - Nothing - because I have not picked it up yet...

But - looking at

Oil change - $90
Brake fluid flush - $80
Power Steering flush - $80
(prob a couple of belts i'm betting)

Drive belt pully sqeeking - replaced under warranty
GPS Ant - low resistance - Covered under Warr
still waiting for a (keyless go) door handle to show up...Under warranty
($100 deductable)

Using the $100 Mercedes gift Cert I got for signing up on their website

So just Maint. costs to me...Yay warranty! And believe me they love to look over the car and find anything they can to bill to the warranty company. Whats weird is I want them to find more wrong...LOL...But its been really a great car I think for the two years I have owned it.

And I get to drive around and put miles on a new E350 loaner...for free for the past 3 days...now that drives very differently - not bad - just different.

Now I just like the newer Navi setup and wanna upgrade to the 2009 version in my car...so I can have traffic and 3d maps and more.

Ps door lock actuator $350<br />

E55 2006 / CLS55 / S450 / Jag XKR2011
For the last 3.5 years I owned I spent totally $2500 include 4 times oil change, transmission service at dealer, water pump replaced, spark plugs changed, all belts replaced, rear tires replaced, engine mounts replaced. All this is not include my mods. I would say it's around $800 per year if no major break down like airmatic. ( I only drive 3000 miles per year now)

1967 Pro Touring turbo LSX Camaro
Mine has 76k miles on it and I can do any needed work myself, so I have no need for a warranty. In the past 12 months I have put 10,000 miles on it and have done nothing but change the oil, installed billet ASP idler pulleys and a supercharger belt as preventative maintenance. ( $400 total)

However I spent about 7k in mods on a front and rear E63 exterior conversion and a set of 20" HREs with tires.

This year I either want to do a set of longtubes and the Weistec blower upgrade, or trade it up to a CLS55 or an SL55/65

~2-4k. Dont have an exact number.

Went through tires monthly, supercharger bearing went, and maintenance for the 25k miles I covered.

This year sucked for me...I must have easily spent $4000-$5000 on the beast and most of it was on repairs. Last year was much better, I spent the same ( or more ) but most was on mods...lol.

I really don't keep track - I keep up on ALL the maintenance, and throw in some mods. I enjoy the AMG, so it does it really matter?

For various reasons some repairs were done at the dealer. Also I am mechanically retarded unlike some folks on here so I dont have the ability to do anything myself.

wow that's some expensive maintenance for alot of you guys. i spent $700 on maintenance since taking ownership of my E63 in june. mods is a different story. if i owned a car that took more than $2,000 in maintenance a year i'd get rid of it. luckily i'm not DDing this E63 or i'm sure i'd be well above that mark.

I second that. I do most of the work myself. The biggest issue I had, were subframe bolt repair. Done By me.

Not really sure how that is relevant, especially since the cost of buying an e55 is cheaper than a new Honda....
