iPod and the AUX connection

To those who already have their E55, or those who know, what kind of connection is the AUX port in the glove box, Im hoping I will be able to hook my iPod up to it, and I wanted to find out what sort of cable Im going to need to do that. Thanks alot!

I didn't think there was one in the glove box, and just looked, and there isn't one.

Buy the iTrip. It is a very good FM modulator. It works well without wires.

I think they were talking about this on the E-class forum. The plug is for the cars equipped with the new navi system. I don't know if anybody got it working, but there was an aux plug in the glove compartment and people were going to experiment with it.

I'm not sure if it's all dependent ont he Comand you have. We have an 2003 R230 we got last July 2nd and we have an Aux in there. I've used like four different MP3 players (doesn't really matter as long as it has the ear/line/whatever out and the cable, I think it's a male-male 1/8th, Audio guru's correct me) and a couple cd players.. same thing.
