Ported 55k heads anyone?

Look here if you are interested in really making your car perform. This is especially for those that have gone to stage 3 and want more power throughout the powerband safely without the risk of a bigger pulley and making more heat!

Got a couple of PM's to see detailed pictures so here they are.

BTW - stock heads flow about 260 cfm intake and 160 cfm exhaust. These flowed 295 intake and 194 exhaust. A ~13% gain in flow on intake and a ~21% gain on exhaust.

What lift were those flow numbers at? A sheet of lift/flow would be nice to see.

0.500. But as I recall they didn't flow much less at .450 realizing that is closer to our cam profile. I'll find the sheet.

What shop did the work? The intake port looks odd...
Are those valves bigger than OEM?

Valves are bigger, they are ferrea and are 39mm. I can ask Brooke if he is open to sharing the person's name that ports them publically on the forum. He is a sponsor so out of respect to that, I will let him decide if he wants to share it. It's not a great angle for the picture so maybe that is why it looks odd.

1 3/4" pipe on the exhaust. I am pretty sure he just clayed the intake. I have to find the sheet to check on the bore but my original plan was for these to go on a block that was 0.020" (0.5mm) over so its probably close to that.

^You're running the Super-Secret heads, too? These things did crazy things for my top end power delivery. Plus, the fuel economy took a nice big jump up.

Thanks for posting Denroll. Sounds like you are a satisfied customer!

Was going to bolt them onto a new block but changed gears a little and decided to put them up for sale instead. $3500 shipped.

Definitely. You can't judge airflow from pics anyway. Inexperienced porters can end up with a port that looks beautiful but flown worse than stock at mid and low lifts.

Jerry was in the car with me the first time I drove the car with the heads... and that was with his ultra-conservative tune since the engine was just put back together. He can probably describe my reaction. Shardul drove the car shortly after that, and I can describe his reaction, lol.

In short, it feels like the car wants to pull right on through the rev limiter. Sterling has also been for a ride in the car with the heads.

Absolutely agree that beauty is meaningless. I'll talk to Brooke and see what he is comfortable with.

Hahaha! Yeah I'm pretty sure Jerry has bought a set of these as well and he told me to stop wasting time on other bolt ons and get these on the car. Now I know why.

4-6 WOW! I wonder if these heads will require a retune?

Re-tune yes. 4-6mph is pushing it. The old rule is 1mph gain in the 1/4 takes 14rwhp but thats a loose translation. With cams and supporting mods to take advantage of the heads you might see 4mph if your turning some rpm's.

I used to eat Denroll for lunch at the 1/8 mile track. No competition.. just pure suckage followed by pwnage.

I really enjoyed racing him.

After our last trip to the track, I threatened to sell my car.

Do the heads work? Hell if I know....

I will try to get both of us to Famoso in the next month. My PB is 11.4 with stock exhaust and shorties. I have done a lot to the car since then, and my 1/8th mile times and traps show tremendous improvement. I am looking for nothing less that 10.9.. and his car is faster. He sucks

The other day I caught him with his dog.. peanut butter everywhere. Very disturbing

Ali is a 5 star seller and buyer , so you can trust any transaction with him.

We spent a year engineering these heads for our cars and we have been shipping them all over for the last two years or so. It was by far the best , most powerfull mod added to my car. Nice thing about high flow heads, is drivability is not changed like with lumpy cams, you just got a lot faster. We ship all over the world on a weekly basis and I am sure Ali can take car of any special shipping needs as well. If not, I will be happy to help or combine with other shipments.
