Hello,

Is this the right spark plug for our 04 E55 ? I have no mods whatsoever other than Eurocharged tune.

LFR7AIX 2309 NGK Iridium IX

I need 16 right ? Also would I need a re-tune with these in ?
Another question what does one step colder actually accomplish ?

No reason to go a step colder if your running a stock motor. Just stick with the OEM 6 heat range. No tune needed.

One more question once I get the plug how do I check if they are originally LFR7AIX 2309 and not something else packed in them?

Also one step colder isn't bad for a non-modified engine is it ?

you'll know because it will be engraved or labeled as such on the plug itself.

they may foul over time since they're expecting a higher temp - but i'd say get em, and for the cost savings get a tune to go with it

If your going to mod in the future go 1 step colder for sure and even if your not the 1 step colder will still be fine. 4 stroke engines don't fouls plugs unless you have a ton of blow by and run beyond pig rich.

I already have a EC tune, I was asking if I'd need a re-tune to match the 1 step colder plugs but I guess not. Thanks all

Might put in a k&n air filter that's it lol all my mod money is going towards lawyers for speeding ticket I received.
