yeah sosa's numbers sounds really high for stock since i also dyno'd on that dyno at BIP and i have 180M pulley, long tube headers, upgraded cooling and tune and put down 455hp/ 560 tq (on dynojet i put down 517hp / 626 tq)Originally Posted by cij911
^^ 70 - 80 whp from JUST tuning and split cooling....hmmmmm....Generally those gains are seen with a tune + pulley....

The guy says he was tuned in the thread he made after they fixed his broken pump and split the cooling. He clearly omitted the tune part in that post but was actually tuned as well as the cooling stuff.

Tony’s great tune I came back, and came back strong! With the wealth of information that B.I.-Performance has provide me I have installed a bigger heat exchanger, had them split the cooling system as well as a minor tune up. Tony re-tuned the car and we are now at 420hp and 496ft

Sorry guys, I totally forgot to list the tune that Tony did. It was a cooler day 62-63f with a revised tune from Tony. You can probably call it a stage 1.5.
My very first run was with a broken pump on a 86 degree day that netted 326 rwhp with 20" wheels bone stock. Tony installed the stage 1 even with the dead pump on the same day and it made 364 rwhp and 450rwtq.
We did a couple of pulles on the 420 rwhp day and the lowest reading went down to 418 rwhp.
Don't doubt the tune or the beast!

Since we don't drive the cars hoods up, would be interesting to see the same car dyno hood down. I have heard it makes a difference in power numbers.
