Them be some big'uns...

To preface the violent horsepower symphony that is planned to serenade this poor car in he next few months, I felt it wasn't a bad idea to lose some elbows and add some stillgestanden in the form of EvoSport's 390/330 2 piece rotors and some fresh friction pads.

Who'd have thought 8 pistons and 15.4 inches of rotor could still look lost! Theres an easy inch clearance in every direction with these wheels, the brakes would clear 19s with no problem. I'll get some better pics tomorrow as I was running out of light this evening and did just the front swap in my driveway much to the dismay of my knitting circle of neighbors.

Unfortunately one of the rotors did require beast mode to divorce itself from the hub. I tried a propane torch and rubber mallet, then PB Blaster and light tappy tap with the 2 lb'er.. Then hulk smash The hub feels fine but I think I'm going to pick up a replacement anyway from either the dealer or from a low mile organ donor if one materializes. Unlikely, butI don't want to have to think about it failing when doing speed tests on I-cuatro or I-noventa y cinco next time I'm in Mexico...

Looks GREAT

I have been looking at these as well... tell me how the adapter for the front calipers work for the 360 to 390 conversion... & did you get any pics of said adapter?

Damn that rotor is massive. Kinda crazy how it still looks small with those wheels.

I was crunched for time and didn't shoot any install pics, but they were very simple. The adapters are just a little spacer that slips between the caliper and the abutment, there are two per side with the 10mm Allen head bolt going through the middle of the spacer. They also supply 4 longer Allen bolts.

I know, and they're not even huge wheels. 17" rotors would clear no problem.

Evosport, you listening?

No pics needed now... I get the picture & that makes perfect sense - Thanks!

What pads did you go with?

I bet you can stop on a dime now! I hear you on the stuck rotor. I tried to beat them off with a BMFH and then fianlly used some new lubricant to loosen them up and BAM, they came right off.
