E55 Diff mount replacement

Hi guys, I'm getting a bit of a thud and jerky engagement from Park to Drive or Reverse. I figured this would be the diff mount, but then this is my first auto car, so I don't really know.

I bought a diff mount, part number: MA211 351 11 42

Can anybody tell me if this is the right part for solving the problem, or should I have bought a tranny mount instead? Also, any guides or advice for changing this bushing out? I'll probably do it tomorrow, weather permitting.

Those bushings don't usually go bad, what you need is a flex disc, one for the front where the trans connects to the drive shaft and one for the rear where the diff connects to the drive shaft. Part # 215 410 00 15

FWIW I replaced my trans mount last week and it has solved the issue of the thud when going from P to R or D.

Gear changes are still not as smooth as I'd expect them to be though so I might look into those flex discs at the dealer tomorrow now.
