so can someone tell me whats wrong now.


awhile ago i got a msg saying my brakes are low. and few days later i got a RED MSG saying decreased braking power visit work shop and it would not let me shift out of park. took a while to get it out (turning on n off and all the way ignition without starting the car) and then msg went away. everything back to normal. i was pissed ..... did a burn out down my street.


remember i had the 2-3 tranny issue ?????? i dropped off the e55 to the tranny shop. i got a call from them later saying they couldnt get the car out of park........

ever since that DYNO ... i havent get a chance to really enjoy her for a while yet... this is very upseting .... im going to order brake pads tonight.



i hope this is not going to be the SBC problem.. if it is and if i also need a tranny rebuild ... im going to fix it but then on to the NEXT whip... i love my car but its starting to **** me off.

Sounds like your stop lamp switch is on the way out. Cheap fix. Hang in there.

guess what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i went to the dealer and authed 2 hrs of diagnose.

it was SBC !!! recall free of charge. all new parts with the whole system flush, top up all fluids and a car wash.

they did programed the new unit ... i wonder if it would wipe out my tune.


got lucky this time... on to the tranny shop next,

Ahh - Good news, now go and enjoy the beast.

Didn't you just have your brakes fix? Turn your car off pump your brake pedal till it feels nice and tight and make sure your brake resivour has fluid filled with the correct brake fluid type. Once you do that pump brakes with the igntion on and car still off.

Yes SBC is warrantied on our cars for up to 10 years.
The other night Yachmaster taught me a lot about our braking system which impressed me a lot. Dude knows his stuff.

Your tune is safe, sbc reflash has nothing to do with your motor electronics. They just put the latest software in your sbc units internal control unit.
