I told you 2013 sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys know how my year started, and it hasn't gotten any better.

I've been working with these new drag wheels for MIR. Airmatic sucks though! One side is slightly lower than the other. So I'm rubbimg on the passenger side when the speed lowers the car. The wheels are 16 by 10.5 with Mickey thompsons. Cut 1.5xs all day with these. They belong to member amx1397. they are on his xfire w/ 55k engine.

turn your volume up for this.

After that a couple weeks ago I cracked the cap where we spit the system. Here's the result.

We fixed that. Easy! Then this happened while picking on an M3.

FAWK!!!!!!!!!!

Check this out.... Some one hit my wifes CLS. And they got away with it.

I'm not even sure if I'm gonna go to MIR. Spraying 125 might not be a good idea at this time. I'm pretty sure that the new leak is the radiator itself.

2013 sucks!!!!!!

Deeeyam...sorry to hear.

No blown water hoses though? Cracked radiator? Hopefully the issue is cleared up once you take a closer look.

Wow...as they say, when it rains it pours! I hope this year turns around for you bro! Your build has been one of my inspirations as a relatively new AMG owner.

Good luck

Some times I still spin. So a wider tire and wheel hooks better. Plus they only wiegh 4 more lbs than the CLK wheels. I have to use the same 20mm spacer though. Jim (amx1397) has been wanting me to run his wheels for months now. I tried them and they hook like crazy! But the airmatic problem makes it rub only on one side. It caused my mph to drop from 126-127 to 125. Running the same exact times. Plus, since they are actual slicks I can run a higher psi and still hook. I think its time for coil overs.

It seems as though my black cloud won't leave me alone.

This build is gonna get crazier in a couple months. I'm trying to double the whp. And EVERYTHING will be built.

There will be no talking. Everyone will see when its all done. I'm bored!

Have you tried raising the car and setting the suspension setting to the softest ? Also, although you have a wider tire, those 4lbs are critical on rotational mass (regardless of how much hp you are making).

Suspension raised and in comfort mode and still spin once in awhile. And when it spins it gets ugly. I've actually gone straight sideways a couple times. Good thing I went to the restroom first.Cause that wall was CLOSE!

Do you have a LSD or locked rear ? It is a shame we can't get 12" + on the rear...

I have a Quaiffe LSD and yes it is a shame! I'm removing the Airmatic so i can see what I can get away with. Either way, I need more traction on the street and a 12 would be ideal for me.

Sorry to hear about all this man. I've learned nothing comes easy but makes you enjoy it that much more when you accomplish your goals. After a bunch of talking and thinking I've decided to keep the airmatic for now to see how fast I can go with it then change over to something else (kinda thinking of a live axle). Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve

It's all good brotha! I just needed something to cry about.
Live axle would be nice. Let me know how that goes. I'm gonna try this carbon fiber driveshaft and the 125 shot before I build the block.
Other than that, you know what's up the other sleeve.

2013 is awesome. I got married to an amazing woman. Besides as you've seen, problems are just a way to fight back stronger. Can't wait to how you're car progresses. First rbv or tee time is on my when you visit houston or we visit Miami.

Big congrats brotha!I've got 8 years under my belt. And we are still going strong.

You know I always come back stronger. And here or there, I call that. I played a tournament last week and shot 72. I made 7 birdies that round. Talk about roller coaster. I would rather play out there.
