2008 Stock E63 if it didn't have limiter? I had first real opportunity to really open it up today. 80 to just over 130 mph before I let off. My curiosity is with how fast she was accelerating with no signs of falling off just how fast are these cars?

It'll hit the limiter at 155, mine kept going past that, but was electronically slowed down. Like instead of quickly moving from 145, 150,155, then once at 155 it felt like hitting a brick wall and only 30% power or something. But I climbed mine up to 162 in mexico.

I have felt that in other cars. Its unnerving.

Anyone here without the limiter push it further?

I have had the E55 over 190 on the track....felt fine with no issues and kept pulling the entire time

I've gone 182 in mine before I let off. I also have a vid going 160.
And I believe Gus83 has gone higher.

That's what I was thinking with the way it was accelerating @130 that 200 was likely achievable in a relatively short time.

my limiter is off on my E63, Eurocharged does that service when you purchase an ECU flash. there's a few videos on youtube of guys in europe with W211 E63's cruising at 200MPH which is absolutely possible IMO. it'll just take a while to get there. leave the family home and take a trip to mexico

there's a video of a guy cruising on the autobahn at 200mph but i can't find it. this should suffice.

I got up to the 180s a few times, pretty scary moving at speeds like that... it still had more in it just never had that much road.

165 here.. Finding the right road and no traffic is my issue... Mine could easily push 190+..

I don't know if its because its in kilometers or what but my speedo was moving much faster than that.

it probably looks like its climbing "slowly" after 120, that's only because the speedometer goes from 5mph per "tick mark" to 10, so it looks like it immediately hits a wall at 120 (u.s. version), but really its just covering a shorter distnace, so it moves slower, if that makes any sense.

I dunno. Mine (US version) looked to be moving like a tach almost......

from 0-120 it will look to be swiftly climbing, then after 120 it will LOOK noticably slower in its pace, while in fact the car is still pulling, because of the changing scale of the gauge.

I hit the limiter @ 155 saw it just like videos show

I went 170ish in my E55, Only been to 150 in the C63. Its nice living so close to the Mexican boarder.

I've hit 170 ish and it was still pulling like a train. I don't doubt I could hit 220 in mine given all the mods. Can't wait till its back to find out!
