You have to take off the Supercharger to do an 82mm upgrade?

You could have used a heat gun to loosen the glue on the stock tb..at this point you have to go to the stealership, I think it's like 100$

Ok hmmm... Is it hard to take the SC off? Any guide on that? What new gaskets do i need?

The "Plenum" - is it the "snout" where the TB attaches to?
If so i'd want to bore that out and use a self-made plate like in the guide linked.

So now some people say the wiring is plug and play, others say it isn't. What is true?
I bought the original MB TB.

BTW: What size TB does my CL55AMG normally have? Some say 76mm, some say 80mm ?

the supercharger is actually very easy to take off, i took me and my buddy about 20-30 min to take it off just make sure you know were everything goes back when you put it back together. if you have the cls550 its 82mm and they are plug and play. you have to make adapter and bore your OEM snout and dassss it

SO no clear guide for that?
I guess i will check the WIS. Any other good ideas on maintenance while that thing is out?
I plan on doing a SC oil-change with JET-A oil. Should i do any bearings while its out?

^ Not exactly true.

This was the first "adapter-less" 82mm install.
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...b-install.html

TTM sells a complete kit based on this, or they could fab the plenum/inlet for you.

That's a bored and drilled 80mm plenum, so yeah not exactly adapterless.
