Yea the SLR's have closed deck blocks but good luck finding one and if you did I would hate to see the price.

what`s wrong with the stock rods?
Stock rods can hold up to 80-100 rwhp and 21 psi (each), i am pretty sure. With some shoot peening, balancing and arp rod bolts even more.
If you need custom rods go with pauter machine. do a research. pauter machine builds engines, custom blocks, cylinders etc for dragracers and high performance street cars since decades. made in usa. quality stuff no chinese knock offs.

for pistons: send a stock piston to JE pistons or Wiseco and they will build you some pistons to your desire. i would guess $150 per piston/custom made.
