Lol! Something is amiss on the weights. If the Zimmerman is half the weight of the MB part using the same materials, I don't want it!

Saving weight with aluminum hats properly engineered makes sense, but removing material from a disk does not! Remember that you are stopping a very heavy car from high speeds with massive pad surface area - the rotors are under a lot of stress.

I don't believe the Zimmermans are inferior (other than rust), I just don't think the weight differential is that great. Either MB is lighter than stated above or Z is heavier, or both.

Let us know when you find out!

Zimmermann makes a quality part. I used them on all of my Audi's.
