I googled Zimmerrman to see if they had a set of rotors for my CTS V and ran across this thread. 3 pages of yelling, woo hoo.

Lots of debate on these over on the Porsche forums too. I believe they are a supplier to OEMs but not sure who or what platform.
My take was that they function just fine but they rust quickly so you may want to paint the hats before installing them. Unlike the Porsche guys, most MB guys will never run there car hard enough to cook the rotors anyway.
That being said, you can buy OEM MB online for $99.00 and they are painted.

I just want some front with a black hat so they don't get rust colored. My rears have black hats and they look great, but the fronts just kill the look to me.

I've got them on my rears. Only done 7000 miles in the but I guess the car behaves as it should with them.
One thing though - one of the discs quickly developed a nice score ring accross the middle of the contact area with the pad (new pads were installed) but i'm guessing that's just installation error or something like that, maybe a bit of stone got stuck to the pad and they fitted it to the disc with it.

I've got these on all 4 corners on my Benzo. Be forewarned.....paint the hats with some high temp black paint BEFORE you install them on your ride....they WILL rust!!! Other than that, they work great and for a great price!
