2006 E55 AMG Valuation
As far as the difference, the seller of my particular car was also out of the ball park on what he wanted. As soon as the car cleared the PPI,I simply used all three sources to come up with an average, showed it to him and then made my offer. No buyer wants to feel cheated and no seller wants to feel like he got beat up.
Lastly, these cars do not have SBC, those are on the S an SL classes. All we've got is Airmatic.

And to the OP (S_ager) there is a range, KBB, NADA (insurance companies use NADA) are an average too. It is possible to have an E55 sell for $21k and then one sell for $17k and the "book value" is posted at the average price, in this case $19K.
The "delta" between a beat up high mile run-out and a garage kept-by-enthusiast owner can be $10-$12K.
PPI + scan for codes and SBC count is a must.
Good luck I hope you find a good one

chet

I've got a low-mileage 2006 going up for sale in the next month or so. 100% MBZ dealership serviced, fully documented and fanatically maintained. Not the cheapest you'll find, but I won't be asking stupid money for it either...... And it's quasi-local to you.
