Car wash/detail experts - anyone using ONR?

I've seen lots of good reviews on Optimum No Rinse (ONR) and was considering getting a bottle... any users here on MBW?

good? bad? feedback?

32oz. Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine ~$22 shipped

here's the schpeal from their website:

No Rinse™ Wash & Shine is the most technologically advanced car wash system that only requires 1-2 gallons of water to wash the entire car. No Rinse™ Wash & Shine does not require rinsing since there are no soapy surfactants to wash off into the storm drains.

This unique product contains substantive polymers which bond to the paint and protect it during the wash. Therefore, No Rinse™ Wash & Shine offers greater protection and lubricity than conventional car washes leaving a sleek & glossy finish behind afterwards. The waste water in the bucket can be used to water the lawn or disposed of into a sink, where it will be treated!

Additional benefits are faster washes, ability to wash anywhere at anytime including washing inside the garage during the cold months, no messy water runoffs, and greater looking car finishes. These are some of the reasons No Rinse™ Wash & Shine is being used by many professional detailers across the country (see testimonials).

No Rinse™ Wash & Shine can also be used to wash motorhomes, motorcycles, boats, and planes.

Directions:

Add 1 oz. of Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine to 2 gallons of water in a bucket. Soak a plush microfiber towel into the wash solution and wash one section at a time till it is completely clean. Dry the section using a clean plush microfiber towel.

Try asking on the GT-R forums

I've actually been wanting to try something like this too. I understand that a decent pressure washer and a ton of water will do a better job, but this is looks promising for more occasional car washes. If you have a ton of salt and stuff on your car, you may not want to use this though... at least until you wash it all off.

I use it. If you have a black car and lots of minerals in your water it its the only way I've found of washing without water spots. I use black diamond sealant and dodo supernatural wax to prevent surface scratches. All in all I like it.

I'm not so much worried about using water - but more of the dirt extraction capabilities...

found a vendor link on MBW as well

I use it 80% of the time on my cars and recommend it to anyone that will listen to me.

Makes washing in my garage in the winter bearable and is the only way I cas wash a black car in the summer sun. Great product.

Even the brushless washes are bad, IMO. The chemicals they use in there are so harsh....

Yep, that's it.

Always add a little to each bucket of ONR.

Amazon had the best price on the products.
