Hi

Does anybody know if I can install the Eurocharged 82mm throttle body and do the pin swap as per Eurocharged's instructions and still drive the car home from the mechanics and to the local shops everyday slowly using the standard tune? I only ask as I am due to fit the throttle body and injectors tomorrow and doesn't look like my tune will be ready to download into my car.

If the electronics were a MAF system, I'd say no problem. In this case, you might not want to.

Well, the calibration will be less off at lower loads/throttle position and the O2 sensors will have some correction as long as you stay in closed loop. YMMV

 

if you are worried about boost...take off the SC belt and drive gently home

 

Won't be an issue at all, just stay away from high boost for the engine safety.
