You all that have this set like I do should make a vid or two so people can hear it for themselves on different cars. Mine might sound louder than other people's setup due to my long tubes, high flow cats and x-pipe. All in all though my car sounds SICK and I've been stopped in traffic by people wanting to know more about what my car has because they heard me take off from a stop light.

My mufflers are getting installed today. Leaving resonator in place. Crappy iPhone video to follow.

Did you get them to install the mufflers in the stock location or like the way mine were installed?

Install is still in progress. He just started not too long ago. I'm pulling a 24-hour shift tomorrow, so probably won't have it until Sunday. The cans need to be mounted at an angle and tips shortened a bit.

Sounds pretty sick! You kept your resonators?

Maybe I should have asked a more specific question so that smartass people with nothing better to do wouldn't have a reason to post crap.....why did you keep your resonators if you don't mind my asking?

I was concerned about droning or certain frequencies, uhh, resonating in the cabin. And I didn't want it *too* loud being here in Cali.

I see. The only reason I asked is because mine has a barely audible drone at cruise and I cruise at 80. How do you like the sound so far?

I really like it, although I've only spent about 20 minutes in it. It will probably get a little louder after the packing in the mufflers break in. So far so good on the highway. Almost as quiet as stock mufflers while cruising.

You asked a dumbF question to which an answer was already posted and I'm the "smartass"?

If you know d**k about s*** you'd know removing resonators paired with non-OE mufflers causes nothing but headliner rattling drone on this platform.

If you could get the d**k out of your eyes and read this post in its entirety you would see that I have a complete exhaust system from the long tube headers back with NO resonators and it has a BARELY AUDIBLE drone. F**k Face.

maybe you took some jizz into cochlea so you couldn't tell the diff. or maybe you're so hard you choose to be the ironic contratrian. who knows.

you're the same guy who used this post as a manufactuer's circlejerking mouthpiece, yes? [Rhetorical Q, no need to answer, in case anyone's actually that obtuse.]

Thanks for the side show boys......

Hey D is it possible for you to get a video from behind the car with a mild acceleration then kick it down a gear? I have the same headers but I still have my secondary cats and resonator. Thx

I'll see if I can borrow a GoPro and do something like that. I might just buy one.

Cruising in to work this morning (Yes, on the Saturday of a 3-day weekend), I had the radio going and I could swear that the car is a little quieter while cruising 80-85 than with the stock mufflers (with this setup)

Denroll, would you say these mufflers are made of aluminum or steel?

They looked like stainless, but they aren't very heavy. I'll look for that next time, maybe give it the ol' magnet test.

My car w/secondary resonators removed is the exact opposite, but to my pleasure. Glad you joined the club!
I made a video but it does the exhaust zero justice!
