Came across a thread a while back from FINNY project stock to awe...and was wondering how many of you guys are running your 55's with a catch can, if so what manufacture, heck if you gotta pic post it too. I saw a DIY on the forum for you guys that get some new ideas from this.
I can't remember his name but a member here running one was catching a lot of oil with his. I know of a lot of guys here running them. I guess they work great for our cars. I don't have one myself, so I'll let others that do chime in.

I have one and in about 3000 miles caught very little oil, so I guess my engine has not much blow by which is good (maybe cuz its a daily)
While another friend has one and his gets pretty full with less mileage...
Always good to have one because oil getting into the intake/combustion chambers will get baked on and reduce the efficiency of the engine and can also cause things like preignition/detonation which can ruin your engine over time and can also lower octane

If your going for the look, or care a lot of what it looks like, then def buy one from a company. I on the other hand needed it for the track on my other car and obviously I can care less what it looked like as long as it worked. Its real easy to make, and for mine I put a drain type nozzle on the bottom for ease.
Do you track your car a lot or anything?

Nice! Yea def getting it right again is always right, and does make you think of things to help care for your car more. Having the catch on is always good regardless. For myself, an a/f sensor/ gauge on all my cars helps ease my mind. Good luck w everything

catch can
in the pass 3k miles essentially no oil in catch can. here are some pics of my install. the rubber cushions are to keep it in place and prevent too much movement. it is a little work to get it out and unscrew the top to empty. i put this together using a scatch n' dent catch can from billet technology and it was quite simple installing it all.
