Where Did you get your TCU from? the reason I'm asking, I got my a TCU from eurocharged, it did not work, yet on the street It did work somewhat,It just slipped Between second and third, And if I got on it a little hard, sometime it would go in the limp mode. And sometime it would actually shift in the third It was very annoying,Had, Done is I was told and had the the applications set three times, which I was told to, so I decided to take it to the track, every run I made on the track, it went first-year second-gear, then let mode,,This was a paid track day so $75 shot to hell, I did find a solution though, I got A new TCU From the junkyard and sent it to Rudy at speedriven and now works great.,

I did make a post about this and it was erased, why? jim

amx1397 its not apples to oranges.

your setup was to allow firmer shifting and hold the shift in gear when you want to.

craigs setup was going from a 2.82 gearing to 3.06 gearing.. when you tired the 3.27 you werent ever able to make it work were you? are you back to running the 3.06 in the xfire?

my 307 TCM was always set up for firmer shifts, from speedriven,,it was last July when I tried the 3.27 with the 307 TCM and at that time you are correct it did not work. That's why when eurocharge said they had A TCM that would work with a gear change 3.27 I ordered it

sorry but you don't know what you're talking about, in late November 2012, I had called eurocharged to get a TCM that would allow me to run the 3.27 gear ratio, I did not send him my 307 TCM, he sent me a TCM for the 347 gear, it Kinda worked on the street But it did slip from second to third, when I called Jerry and told him the problem, after the track day, he practically cussed me out and told me to send it back to him. Which I did, at that time I put my 307 differential and my 307 TCM back in the car, got a hold of Rudy at Accelerated industries,Also works with Marson at speed driven, He sent me a TCM, set up for the 3.27 gears. When I called him back and told him that it was still slipping the second and third, he said I need a transmission rebuilt, that that is the only way to fix it,Now dreamer you have the rest of the story, I have been running the 3.27, and my car since January, my new transmission goes in this week, lot of money to correct somebody's screw up,, my question is how many people, how part of TCM from whoever and then had their transmission starts slipping?

called jerry on the way home from track( yep worked good on the street again except slipped from 2 to 3rd.) Jerry said
(" I'm tired of holding you guys hand, do what i told you and it will work. if you can't do what i said then just send the thing back( I had done exactly what he had told me to do,I took the car to Nemo a eroucharge tuner, and we ran the application just as he had told me to do.)
I told him he did not have to hold my f*** hand now or ever and he would have the damn thing back by tomorrow night. i got a full refund. and now for the rest of the story. eroucharge lost a good customer . just so you know I set up 3 different dyno days in south fl. for jerry and eroucharge,,and never got as much as thank you for doing

Thankss for sharing this info.,

Unfortunate that Jerry can’t help with 3.27 TCU set-up, his one of most qualified person as i heard,,

Anyway; if you get a TCU from "2003>>2006" C55/CLK55/SLK55, and install it with 3.06 diff. i think it will work, isn’t....??

I gotta say something here, concerning Jerry, we have had our disagreements but he stepped up to help me out with a problem, he has been trying to figure out the problem and he showed me that its not really about the money, the guy likes doing this, its not just a business. When I am wrong I admit it and in this instance Jerry has shown me that I had him all wrong, AMX contact Jerry as I am proof that he came out of no where to help me even after alot of SH*T I threw his way

Jim,

You sir are a liar. It has been proven with recent events that have been brought to my attention by other members. I have thanked you, done your ECU tuning for free at the Crossfire event and have thanked you each time I saw you in Florida. Please don't get a big head and think that every customer that showed to the dyno day was due to you and your "setting up of this event". We do these dyno days all across the world and the events are a success because of many people.

I am frustrated regarding the TCU programming for these new gears. All I do is open the existing customers program and change the gear ratio in the file. If the transmission slips afterwards, then it's not from my doing. I don't guarantee that it will work at all. Many people know that I attempt projects like this if it will benefit the community. I hope other members will chime in and relay what was told to them.

I'm sorry your feelings were hurt, but please leave my name out of your mouth. The members here are now aware of the lies that you tell and it's not flattering from such a seasoned individual.

Thank you my friend. I actually had no idea Jim was upset until I got a txt from a friend today and they pointed me to this thread.

I was also informed that Jim had told numerous people that I'm being sued by like 11 people for blowing up motors.

Is there anyone here that has sued me? Didn't think so...

I'm just tied of all the BS and drama. I'm sorry Jim had his feelings hurt...however, I can be quite blunt at times and someone that isn't used to that will almost always take it the wrong way.

Maybe something happened after tuned the car, and this thing could not involved with a tune it self,

Jim may thought its from the tune,

like this issue happened to me "3" years ago, i know that bad feeling,

all of us can force something like this, just need to be patience & not ended in the bad way......

I can say Jerry was going to offer me a spare tcu with a tune on it for different gears back when I was interested for next to nothing. I can also say that Jerry has done way more than expected or that he ever should in helping me out with tuning and parts for my car.

There is nobody I know in my years of being in to tuning cars that is like Jerry PERIOD. It is extremely rare for a business or individual to do so much for the community and often times for so little if anything in return.

Eurocharged is where everyone out there should consider spending their money because I can promise you that the odds are extremely low in getting what you get from Eurocharged from another company. Almost always responses are extremely fast when inquiries are made and like mentioned, Eurocharged and Jerry will bend over backwards to help. I can only imagine how many customers they have and how busy and crazy things can get at times with them, but even with all of that things have always been great.

Hate to see someone that helps so much get trash talked so figured I would share my $.02

Well, I'm a little bias, Jerry has done so much for me and is still doing it! He takes on the challenges on his own time and figures this stuff out. I've never met another tuner out there that cares as much about advancing a platform for everyone even at their own expense. On to Craig's problem, for those who don't know I'm running 3.55 in mine and I do have it bang off of the rev limiter from time to time in the 2-3 shift. My transmission doesn't slip, it just tries to shift to close to the rev limiter and it can only shift so fast. I've never had it go into limp mode and I don't have any code from it. Craig, do you have the same problem on the street and what size tires are you running on both?
