Please HELP. ESP Malfunction

Hey,
Long story short I've been driving the car all day long, it sat in driveway for few hours. After that I had to drive my mom to the hospital, the car started up, second later the idle got poor, sounded like multiple misfire. ESP Malfunction light came up along with check engine light. I tried to disconnect the battery for few minutes. Called up towing, when the guy got there the car wouldn't react to gas pedal at all. It did before though, after first time I started her up. Got the car to my mechanic but he said he couldn't do much because he has an aftermarket computer and can't run full diagnostic. He said that there is no voltage going from gas pedal to throttle body tho. He explained there should be a reading of 5 volts, and there only is 0.16 volts. There is 3 codes, one for ESP mulfunction. The other two Ill get when I call him. Car has 73k miles. Is it something common? I am taking my car to the dealer to run proper diagnostic. If you guys have any input Id be greatful for it. Thanks in advance

you can connect the car to STAR DAS and run a Quick Test and it will tell you if the pedal assembly is faulty.
Your indy doesnot know a lot if he is telling you he can't run a diagontic test due to a ECU remap.

that happened to my 01 c320 and it turned out to be a switch behind the gas pedal. GOOD LUCK

Just ordered the assembly. Hopefully it resolves my problems. The guy who worked on my car said he's 90% sure that its the ECU going bad, so Im kinda working against him. BUT he did mention he got the car running normally for 15 minutes, drove it around and again the throttle body got stuck.
