S/C won't engage after few pulls- solution ?
Last afternoon I went for a drive and I noticed after few short pulls (maybe 4-5 short ones up to -120-130km/h) S/C took a "break" and didn't engaged for few seconds which after them he engaged again for another 1-2 pulls and again- took a break.
Tho it was only about 28 degrees (C) my guess is cooling liquid in the intercooler got to hot and cut off the S/C to avoid damage.
Am I guessing right?
Need to mention engine temp' was normal at around 80-90c.
Any other reasons may result in S/C cut-off?
What might be the immediate solution for that?
My car is driven daily by my wife with the kids, I'm mostly driving on weekends, sometimes morning drives which are more aggressive but nothing too dramatic.
In addition I don't have any plans to tune my car in near future, therefore I will prefer a solution which is a "bold on" without the need to modify parts etc' etc'.
Cheers guys!

I know the stock one is Bosch, but I don't know if the one was recommended fits as plug & play but from your reply I assume it is.
Can you please tell me the part number/link for purchase?
Thank you.

I posted up a photo of my "old vs. new" parts for my 2006 E55 quite a while back, though with a little effort I'm sure somebody could find it again.
EDIT:
Feeling generous....adding the original pic of my old, broken pump vs. new "010" box label

Found it, Greg... I have a 2006 as well, so you and I likely have the same original pump. I just ordered the '010' version off Amazon. Doing that, the EC HE and -10C Star all together. Summer is right around the corner!
EDIT: Dang, you're faster than me!

wait ...why would you get the stock one ? that is the culprit in this situation and you are going to get it again ? That is a good gesture on Manuyc but you'll still be suffering from the same problem.
Just spent 110 bucks and get the new Bosch 010 like everyone advised and you'd be set.

In any case, when buying the 010 for my car, do I still need this harness or it will be plug & play for me?
Do I need to activate the new pump throu star?
Thanks guys.
