new sc belt cracked?

Is this a sign of a faulty belt? I received it like this. It seems a bit odd....
Just want to make sure it is in good condition.

Being in the Auto Business Ive seen a few Belts walk through the door like this - BRAND NEW - they are usually defective and can be exchanged at no cost to the customer.

Looks like it was folded in the opposite direction while in storage / shipping and developed some creases. I'd guess it's just temporary.

I'd swap it just so it didn't sit in the back of my head nagging me for months on end. If you just bought it get a new one, it's too easy to replace to chance it.

Id swap it out if it weren't any trouble to do so, but it appears to be just a cosmetic wrinkle in the outside part of the belt. I seriously doubt it'll give you trouble.
