I could have gotten either the CLS 63 or the E63. I like the sexiness of the CLS, but I think the E is just more aggressive looking. Although, with wheel changes, lowering etc... the CLS does increases its aggressiveness. All the pics above but one were highly done for advertising reasons and yes looked dam good. But for a stocker in normal settings this was just my liking. I felt the CLS was too big, more like a S coupe than anything. But thats me.
My biggest issue with it, is now that I did the paint correction the gloss levels are so high, and the black shows so much the trim and rubber edging cannot be darkened as much. trying to figure out how to darken them. They do have protection on them that darkened them up some.

FORRRR SUUUUUUURRRRRREEEEEE BRRRROOOOOO!!!!
I feel like this too. Especially when I'm driving around town WITH the wife in the car and random girls smile, wink, and give me the thumbs up. Even worse when I'm going to work and have to drive down Rodeo Dr. avoiding Aventadors, Veyrons, and Zondas and tourists still stop and take pics.

I understand saying one car is better looking than another. To blast the CLS as worded in above posts is crazy, the CLS is epic in so many ways. You get all the benefits of the monster 55K motor and you get it in a 4 door coupe body with some of the sexiest lines in the business!
Anyways, to each their own!

For me, the CLS55 is a dreamcar I didnt know was my dreamcar.
I've looked at the E55 before (and back then I didnt know the CLS55 was very similar), but the interior of the E55 felt "old" to me and the CLS55 still looked modern inside. Also the lines of the CLS are sexy as hell, but that is a personal preference

I absolutely love the 219 interior. It's my favourite Mercedes interior. The big wood trim in the dash and the lines of the cockpit give it a really timeless design.

I have both CLS55 and E55. The CLS interior is way nicer but smaller. However 06 E55 is more practical interior such as cup holder are and more leg room for rear seat.

Hell yeah! 10 year old thread for the memory lane jog on a Sunday morning with coffee! Thank you for that. 🙌🙌
Crazy the 2022 CLS is going to be the last run and they went full circle back to the original lines. It you look close it's basically our old 2006 55 but with facelift grille, tail, and interior.
Hope all you rockstars are well!
