E63 vs F430?

So I just got back from visiting my buddy who just got his 430. Though we didn't get to race I did get to take it for a few mile drive. As I've owned an F car in the past I never drove one with the F1 option and have to say I was quite disappointed with it. I'd expect the shift to be much quicker than that in my 63, it wasn't, on up shift there's a bit of a lag as if your manually shifting gears, felt kind of weird, maybe driving in race mode would be different. With that said I have to say it brought memories of my F355 some years back and that Ferrari sound is second to none. Hopefully we'll get to run a few sometime soon. Will post some videos if and when we do.
