I think she's ready for Summer(quick pic inside)
So I've been slowly making my changes to the car since getting her in December. I picked up AKnight's Forgestar F14s and installed em...



I know it isn't lowered yet, it's coming next week

Mods:
Blacked out grill
AMG flat badge
E63 Spoiler
Authentic Carlsson lip
18" Forgestar F14

To come:
Lowered via star
Black hood vent
Multi fin diffuser in matte black

I actually did the back badges, and will be doing the side ones as well when I get off my lazy ***.



I'm still unsure about what to do with the chrome strip all around the car

Looks great.
You can black out all the chrome trim like I did moldings, door handlings, emblems, trunk/hatch centre trim etc.....

This thread I attached below shows more pics of mine were you can see all the chrome items done in black just to give you an idea.

Actually big thank you for that... I have been going back and forth with this and wasn't sure what to do... my body shop guy is telling me he's doing it, but I wasn't sure... it actually doesn't look too bad

Looks good.. Will look even better when you lower it

Believe it or not, I actually used electrical tape on the chrome body trim going all the way around the car. 99 cents and you can do the whole car

You can see it in this pic.. Been on the car for 2 years and held up well.

No, it rubbed slightly when I first got the tires on, but didnt rub after the first month or so.

Lol yes, on the conservative side... My plans are for heat exchanger, upgraded cooling pump, a pully and a tune. I run a lot of local gumball style events and kicking around the idea of running One Lap of America next year so I want to keep OEM reliability

you can also wrap the chorme in white vinyl

I can't find any white vinyl that matches alabaster white. And no 6000k or 8000k bulbs are going in my headlights... I'm a bit of a lighting snob, I've retrofit my last 2 cars...
