Broken Motor Mount and the Dyno

When I dynoed last, we did one pull to see where I stood after installing the latest round of mods to my car. At the beginning of the pull, I noticed the car had a broken mount on the drivers side. The motor moved approximately 6 inches under load. Does anyone definitively know if a broken motor mount lowers power output on a dyno?

This place is a joke.
It's possible it gave your knock sensors a false reading and killed some timing. Why not post your numbers from the dyno and we will demystify them?

You haven't swapped to the 63 front bumper yet? That's costing you big power dude.

Clearly the older less efficient bumper openings are killing his cooling abilities and costing him big powder.

Tint and carbon fiber mirror covers should be enough weight savings to get the power you are trying to demystify.

Didn't you demystify the dyno? That's the problem. Demystify the dyno, and that'll undemystify the powaaaaaa!

Just curious, what's your latest round of mods? I'm sure they're mods nobody has done yet on the board.

I hear the Eurocharged tune is new and uncharted territory...so...

did the engine move a full 152mm? if not, it could be an imbalance of oil ballast in the heads, have you done a full bleed-down of the valves to ensure they're hollow and not holding extra oil?

I must say, a broken motor mount surely does not reduce power output. Unless like previously stated the car somehow detected knock. I doubt it though... You came from dsm right? I'm sure you know all about the "counts of knock" then.

Depending on which headers he has, the busted mount can very likely be letting the header primaries contact the steering shaft on the drivers side which could cause false knock.
