Help! Brake caliper mountin bolt broken

Does anyone know where to find the bolts used for mounting the front brembo caliper on an E55? I had on snap completely in half. Dealer told me I'd have to order the entire caliper. And are the torque specs 130lbs? If not, that would be the cause.

130lbs? where did you get that from? stoptech recommends 65lbs and with a little loctie 262 and you would have been golden.

P.S
Are you installing brembo's or are you talking about the OEM caliper?

Yes the factory brembo calipers. I thought 130 sounded too high. Too much wrong info on the Internet. Another lesson learned the hard way. Thank you for the info.

Sucks man, hope you get it worked out. Sounds like you have some drilling to do. Best of luck!

if your trying to get it going... home depot and match the thread, shank, and grade(strength), with a good bolt from the other side... good luck and order the correct one...but you may get by for the weekend with the home depot match up .....remember this is your BRAKING and i wouldn't f*ck around with brakes tires or suspension... good luck

if there is room make a slit in the middle of the bolt and use a screwdriver, also a bolt extractor kit from sears might help, or drill it out very carefully wear goggles and have penetrating oil on hand and an air pistol might help also, i've also had success with channel locks/poly nose/ vise grips.... and last resort welding to bolt.....this all depends on your skill and where the bolt broke! be careful good luck

If the head broke off the tension is removed from the threads. Take a small punch and hammer and just start tapping an edge. It should spin pretty easily.
