This humid weather SUCKS!
It seems like it runs on 6 cylinders, damn the summer months. In the summer months you want to drive it all the time, but the weather heatsoak makes it less fun!
Is December here yet?

I agree, I believe you're in the DMV area, right? It's been super humid here this past week and I've gotten heatsoaked quite a bit too... I had some good runs the other day with a friend of mine and experienced it a lot.... had to just let the car cool off and run again.

Yup, just outside B-more.
I did some WOT runs from a dig, slow roll, and higher roll and literally felt the car get slower.
It's time to install this EC HE and Bosch 010- they've been sitting in my garage for a month!

Even with a Upgraded HE / and 010 Pump wired key on, The Car losses alot of power in this heat. Im About to do a Split but even with that the IAT on this car sky rocket And timing gets pulled back alot, causing power loss. Might need Methanol Injection To cure this issue.

Just For reference, I did a pull with a E60 M5, 1st Race I got him by 4+ CL .. did a few more pulls , By the end of the 3rd Run.. he was actually Next to Me.. And yes my S/C was on, It was more of timing being pulled and me having been down 50+ hp due to the heat =(

Of course ... I don't expect the HE and pump to work miracles, but at least it'll help with recovery a bit and keep IATs slightly lower. I don't think anything can battle this heat
I want 30 degree weather back!

I feel all of your pain...I don't even use it when it is really hot and humid. If I do...then I will be in the same boat as many of you guys here and be putting a lot of money into it to go faster. I use mine sparingly and in not humid weather so it always feels fast...I don't get used to it!
Don't get me wrong...I am, indeed, a sucker for going faster so I will be doing more to it sooner or later. This way, it will be later at least! lol
I did get smoked by an early 90's 240sx on Sunday, he must have had a giant turbo! He was a nice kid and we were laughing about getting smoked, it's all in fun! No matter what upgrades I will do in the future...there is always someone faster! What's the point? It did make me think about getting some more work done!

The bigger the pulley you get the worse it gets too. You think you are making it fast by getting some huge crank pulley and are just paralyzing yourself even more when it is hot out.

Small pulley or big pulley in 100* weather plus humidity you would be nuts to start doing crazy long pulls
There's a reason records are made in the winter
Colder denser air and lower iats
Meth or not it's not worth it in the summer months

91° and humid in Gainesville today. I have an upgraded Heat Exchanger, split cooling, and bigass pump. With my 180mm lower + this heat, every time I get on the gas I can just feel my engine doing this to me:

Yeah I have trapped 120.7mph before at the track in Gainesville when it was 60 and then have been there when it was hot and only did like 114 (Kleeman headers/80mm throttle body/180 pulley at the time.

This man has it right. Big *** pulley is only good for short bursts and dyno runs. repeated dayle driving in hot weather and u might be slower then stock

This place is a joke.
I'm still wondering why there are so few options with cooler thermostats. I know the ECU looks for a minimum temp, but for us in hotter areas I wonder if a 10 degree cooler thermostat would help a bit. When modding other cars I owned one of the first things to do was a cooler tstat...

Heat wise it has been as high as 96* and 80% humidity. Alabama can be just as bad as FL during the summer.
IATs will peak around 120 on longer runs when really hot but my Dyno shows under 100* on a 3rd gear pull in cooler 70* weather.
