Airtex Fuel Pumps

Simply for preventative maintenance, I am preparing to replace my fuel pumps (never leaked; never had ethanol laced fuel). I am considering Airtex pumps. There does not appear to be too much info on this forum reporting on the "satisfaction level." So, anybody have anything to say about Airtex replacement pumps?

Don`t know of anyone running them on our AMG`s and the E55 has two pumps that look like little octopi with all the lines running of them, so it would take a whole new designed system to change. I run duel Bosch 034 pumps inline and trunk tank feeds teh twins.

Airtex ones are OEM replacement ones. I have seen them in person if the savings are significant over OEM unit, you sould get them .

Looking at the description it says fuel sender included as well for $594? Am i missing something?? That is half the cost of parts from what two indys have told me, they are quoting 500+ for sender and another 500+ for pump.

Just hung-up the phone with Craig at Airtex - - - Guess what? Airtex buys the pumps from Mercedes Benz and simply resells them.

OE Discount Parts sells the 211 470 17 94 and 211 470 51 94 modules for $405.00 each (less seal rings @ $17 ea)
