Cool how much HP do you have?

to put more clarity around the 'what E55 has the most HP' - maybe a poll will help?

My monster put down 389whp lol. That was stock. IPS did a dyno pull before the build started so we could document numbers. Hopefully these numbers will grow a little bit after the build is complete.

Hopefully on a high boost setting those numbers double. Just hope the engine holds! I would love to see 700whp be reliable with the turbo setup on stock engine. I wonder where the fuel system is going to be a problem though and not be able to flow enough (like the fuel pump needing to be upgraded) or maybe a surge tank put in line somewhere with a beefy pump in it to feed the fuel rails.

I am just hoping for 625-650whp at first. I do think that our motors will hold up with 700whp on turbo set up. They wont have the heat issue and turbos are easier on the motor. So I think it would be awesome to be between 650 and 700whp. We will see. All comes down to tuning.

But they did dyno my car after removing the stock exhaust, installing Kleeman headers and a tune. I gained 90whp lol. Not too bad. But that was just to get some numbers.

GT3076r turbos will get your 650whp no problem. Hell I had over 400 ALL WHEEL HP with just one of them on a little 2 liter 4 cylinder (my Audi) with a not so great tune also. .63 a/r turbine housing and .60 compressor housing.

Do you know what size a/r turbine housing yours are, assume the smallest? I saw you have the smaller 3" inlet .50 a/r compressor housing.

how are you figuring out HP instead of WHP?

you'd need a dyno number to use an algorithm to establish crank HP - that is unless you're running an engine dyno

Just using the average drivetrain loss as an estimate of crank HP. About 588 crank HP.

i heard that if you take your dyno HP and multiply by 1.12 you get the crank power

About 15% driveline loss for an auto tranny is a good conservative number to use.

On my last dyno I made 550.1 on a Mustang.. Jerry told us to pull my filters on my Needswing CAI and I made 568.. I have since put a custom 5" intake on but have not re-dynoed.. I will dyno again if I decide to go with a meth setup..

My car was dyno tuned over a year ago by Jerry. I was fully modded and have not had a retune since. It put down 514whp/561wtq on 93oct. I always thought my car sucked and I wasn't getting the power I thought I should have.
Since then I have done many G2Gs and dyno days. And every time we strapped my car on the dyno, the whp was higher. Not by much though, like 514-517-523-530 and so on. The last dyno day that I was at my car made 541whp/589wtq on 93oct. All dyno pulls were on the same dyno at Rage-Tek. South FL doesn't get cold much and most dyno days are a full day on the weekend. Not really sure what's going on but just thought it was cool.

Q16.... That's another story. I never re dyno'd after the initial tune.
