He'll, if I was in my 55, I would have never seen him and punched it through the gate like usual. Glad I was in my Navigator.

Back in the day I got chased down by an unmarked 98-02 accord 4banger. I Got a little crafty, didn't see him again..
In retrospect, I think it was his personal car and he was off duty, but some punk kid cuts him off, cop decides to flash his badge, punk kid gets anxious then dances through traffic....

Virginia doesn't play. We have everything you can think of. Pick ups, suv's, ford and Chevy dually's,mustang and camaro's,challengers and chargers and Prince William County has a Z06 Vette now too. A friend of mine got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago from a bike cop that was driving a dodge mini-van.

Jeez!! This thread makes me even more hesitant to punch my car ever on the highway to over triple digits. I would surely accept the challenge of any IS-f or GTR out on street if the road is dry, the road condition was ideal (No traffic, smooth tarmac, etc.), and the road looks like safe spot for a quick race where cops can't hide.
I haven't received a speeding ticket since 2002, mostly due to the fact that I've been extremely lucky and I follow certain precautions.
They are as follows:
1. I never go to fast for too long when on the highway. I may punch it from 65-110 or so just for the heck of it, but I will never cruise at a speed more than 15mph for longer than 20-30 seconds.
2. I limit my speed on roads that I am not that familiar with until I learn and get a feel for where cops like to hide and/or get an idea of the type of police cruisers used on the road.
3. I limit my speed at night. Like most of you guys on hear I'm pretty good at recognizing those familiar Crown Vic/Charger/Impala headlights, but it is sometimes difficult to decipher what's behind you especially for a far distance until it's too late. Also, like already said, there are far more other types of vehicles to look out for other than the norm.
4. I do not engage in spirited driving with and Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs, or Camaros unless their plates are non-governmental/municipal plates. However, I'm not sure if this is necessarily the case as undercover cars may not always have munipal plates on their vehicles.

In Hawaii, police officers use personal cars that the department pays to outfit with lights and equipment. They are hard to spot since they do not carry a full light bar across the roof, usually just a ski rack looking bar with a single blue light in the middle. So, I don't know if it's fair to say that the state of Hawaii uses undercover cars really. Mustang Cobras, Camaros, Dodge Magnums, Toyota Forerunners are the common culprits.

I got pulled over by a dodge caravan when i took my traction off at the light. Decided to rip through the intersection before i pulled into my sub division. When i saw the light behind me i was like wahhhh were did he come from then i started cracking up cause it was the caravan next to me at the light. But He let me off with a warning and was asking if i was trying to race a mini van " i said no sir just getting my dose of punching the pedal to the floor. Smiled and told me to have a nice night becareful and nice car haha. Needless to say i don't go sideways anymore by dodge caravans

There was an incident in the apartment complex I live in (Middle Georgia) involving a gun being discharged and 15+ cops showed up. Among the cars driven by the police were a unmarked, blacked out Camaro with a CF hood and a Nissan Juke ().
After hearing the Camaro crank up, I asked one of the cops what was done to it. He replied that it had an LS7 swap. He then smirked and in a douchey, cop-like tone said, "You better not try to run from it."

Here in NY especially in bk they use everything from Ice cream trucks, yes I said I ice cream trucks to Maximas to minivans to Accords to every type of American minivans. They mostly use them to fight crime not to street race. In Long Island they used to have a Mustang Cobra like 6 yrs ago tailgate everyone trying to get a race.
