--MAYDAY MAYDAY--airmatic pooped lol

well my right hand side strut decided to start leaking slowly while the car was at the dealer "how convenient" lol, so pretty much the only option here is Arnott right?? and i know only my right hand side went but am not just replacing that, am going to do the left side as well while at it, so i know its done and good to go... i guess it was my time

If you're going to keep the car for a while, why not just change over to coilovers? Yes it's more expensive than a strut, but more for the peace of mind.

I get a nice piece of mind when a highway turns to pothole city and I raise the car with a push of a button for more clearance, and smoother ride :-) Arnott gives lifetime warranty.

Just curious - what were the exact signs of them going? Mine have slow leaks if I leave the car sitting for a good amount of time, but I haven't had issues once I start it and run it again.

On their site it says $525 plus $200 core refundable so does that mean they are $325

No, it means they are $725 until you send them your old strut, then they refund you the $200 core charge.

Well I just ordered 2.. left and right $948 plus shippin etc without the core since I get the $400 back

I ordered them separately so that I got to use the coupons on both instead of doing one order and one discount. .

Mine went south in the back and one of my fronts started to act up, so I installed an Airlift kit. The ride is the same but I now control it with a handheld unit instead of the mode switch. I can go back to factory Airmatic at anytime with new replacement parts and just unbolt the Airlift product. There's a pic in the E55 picture thread on the last page.

Steve.
