Hmm....my wheels are already gunmetal. Should I do my emblems in anthracite or black?

Had a success and a failure last night. Sprayed the chrome trim strip above the rear license plate and that came out okay, but tried to do the chrome trim strip around the edge of the back bumper and failed when I went to peel it... I don't think I did enough coats on it. I did 6 on the badges and had no issues peeling, but I only did 4 or 5 on the bumper strip and it came apart.
Doing the grille right now, going to do 6+ coats plus gloss coats depending on how it looks. I took the grille off the car though so no need to peel it thankfully.
Will report back with pics.

Got the wife's wheels, emblems and grille done in anthracite today. It was dark when I finished putting everything back together so no pic. I hope I get time to do the chrome strip and turn signals done in white sometime this week (cars white).
