I am up for it, I was going to leave in the late afternoon but I will stick around and go to the track for a little while before heading back. 8:30am tomorrow the drag radials go on.

The car does sound unbelievable but damn is it loud. My E55 is fairly loud and the V is in another league lol I have the stock mufflers too so I am pretty sure I am going to end up putting them on to make it a tiny bit quieter. Right now you could probably hear it from 2 miles away haha.
And it is definitely fast as **** too. Like WAY faster than my E55. I also noticed the traction control is way better. It lets you have so much power with the TC fully on still and there are 2 settings of turning it off also. Where the E55 senses the slightest bit of slip it just kills the power the V just rips and isn't spinning the tires all over the place, it is controlled very good. I haven't driven it with any TC off since I need to just get used to the car first and it honestly doesn't even need it turned off.

No, I go on 90 day visas and my time was up so was coming home for a break, it was just perfect timing to get the car so had to scoop it up before someone else did. I will be home for roughly a month then not sure how long I will be going back, could be 5 weeks could be a couple months.
Well, time for bed, Florida to D.C. and back to Florida in a day is rough, not to mention not being adjusted for this time due to just coming in from Italy which is 6 hours ahead!

Congrats to you both on your cars!
Same here. I've been playing with the LSX for so many years and wanted to learn something new. I've gone from a good old Heads/Cam swap all the way to a 370 LSX with 101mm turbo. My garage is literally an LSX parts store haha. I looked at the V but the E55 was such a steal at the price I couldn't pass it up. Once the V loses some more value I may be tempted to pick one up but that depends on how far I take this thing.
I would have bought a V instead of my Mercedes in a second, except I wanted to learn something new. I've been modding and swapping LS platform cars since they came out, and could have built a 1000hp+ V with spare parts from my garage (no joke) but its not that interesting to me since its the same thing wrapped in a shiny box to me.

AMG to V
A New 2010 CTS-V and New 2011 GT-500 mustang were my only choice cars compared to a used CLS 55 030 I bought in 2010. Almost bought a New 2010 V gray/ 6sp. Their wasn't any used V's at a descent price range in 2010. When and if I sell the CLS , it will either be a V coupe or wagon , unless the all new Mustang is off the planet with quality materials or C7 .. Badm Their nothing wrong with moving from AMG Beast to V Beast . This is the best era for High Performance Supercars enjoy .

This place is a joke.
Exciting purchase you got there UW, do they still charge to use the bathroom at South of the Border, lol what a tourist trap!! I'd love to buy a CTS-V coupe some day, but still out of the budget until a few more years!! Just did the 82mm install on my car and that will have to hold me for a while !
