Subtle changes are the best changes (06 E55 pics)
The car is FILTHY, please excuse me. I am off tomorrow as well, so she will getting the full nine wash and wax.
I'm not a huge fan of doing a lot for looks on cars, that's just me. I like the quote, "Look stock, go fast" and try to follow it with every car I own - the E55 is no exception. I like to stay as close to stock-looking at possible. The car had the front spoiler when I purchased the vehicle.
GRILLE:
My cousin's husband owns a body/paint shop and does custom paint work. I asked him if he could do something with my grille. I didn't want it black nor straight gray, so he gave me about 800 different shade choices, yes, 800. All varying from blue-ish gray to green-ish gray, to charcoal etc. I went with a blend of blue with charcoal and it turned out great.
SIDEMARKERS(SMOKED):
I updated the disgusting egg yolk sidemarkers to the smoked out lenses, which compliment the Flint and grille very well now...
REAR LIGHTS(SMOKED):
I've used a local tint shop for work on all my cars. They're the only people I let tint any of my vehicles. They do exceptional work and have outstanding prices. I called them for an estimate and they told me $30. I just had the white lens areas tinted for a smoked out look to flow with the rest of the smoked look.
The pics don't do justice, but it's the best I could do (I'm no photographer).
I can't wait to get that Eurotek Diffuser on!

Wow, looks amazing! Droooooolll. I think Flint Gray is one of the best looking colors on these cars, by far!
That Eurotek Diffuser is going to go so well with the rest of the car.
KEEP IT UP!

I couldn't have said it better myself...although my car has the carbon fiber lip spoiler and a few other minor touches that I think look pretty good but this is the way I got it...I only made it a little faster!
BTW: Dirty? Are you smoking crack this evening! lol...The car looks great and the color is cool. Almost bought one myself but the car had too many miles and wasn't maintained well.

Thanks for the comments, guys..
As far as the trunk spoiler, I couldn't tell you. I bought the car from the original owner and asked if anything was aftermarket; he said only the Carbon Fiber front spoiler/lip is aftermarket, everything else is stock.
My previous 06 had the trunk spoiler that wrapped down on the trunk..it was nice, but I think this one looks much better.
Was this trunk spoiler not from the factory? Interesting..

Sir-Boost-A-Lot, you might be right...now I'm curious if it's aftermarket after all ..?
Viren.89, yes, I am thinking some 5-spoke step modular wheels, but nothing crazy heavy ... might take a while to find! I loooooove me some deep dish wheels.

You've nailed the front end. Add a set of nice wheels and a CF rear diffuser and your car will reach Jedi-Master status.
And your right... the subtle changes are always the best changes (if done correctly).
You get an A+
