2004 E55 Convenience functions off, and overheating probem?

Hey guys, I'm trying to get my car diagnosed before tomorrow's car show I was supposed to drive to.

Earlier today, my convenience functions turned off and wouldn't come back on. Also I noticed while pulling into my apartment, the engine temp was abnormally hot (120c) so I turned it off for awhile to cool down. I tried to turn the car back on, and the battery was dead (10.7v). I jumped the car, and it remained a normal temp with jumpers still attached, when I took it off, the temp climbed again.

I did some more voltage testing with the jumpers off, the rear battery still read low (11.9v) and I didn't get a solid reading on the aux batt, but it as reading VERY high (25-30v) all while running. I'm going to do some more voltage tests, but I'd appreciate some imput from those more experienced than myself.

I have replaced the alternator, regulator, and aux battery within the last year, so am I being too quick to think the main battery is causing these problems? I'm assuming the overheating issue to the electrical system going on the fritz from not enough voltage, causing the fans to not work. Like I said, I was planning on driving to wekfest tomorrow, so any help would be great.

If the main battery is more than a few years old that would be my pick. The aux battery showing 25-30 volts is crazy. Check the terminals on the main for loose connection, remove the cables and clean the cable and terminal. How old is the main, an old battery puts a lot of strain on the charging system and could have fried the regulator! Old battery becomes a huge resistor when the plates start shorting out.

I narrowed it down to either the alternator itself, or the regulator. The alternator was putting out about 11v.

Luckily my almost new alt has a warranty, but looks like I'll be sitting shotgun tomorrow haha.
