Dynamic seat getting weak, weak, weak!
Hey guys. Over the past few months my driver's seat dynamic auto adjustments on the side bolsters has been getting weak. It's to the point where I can barely notice it much. I mentioned it to my dealer, they said there is a code for the seat bladder, they wanted to replace that for $900.
BUT, when I turn off dynamic and MANUALLY adjust the side bolsters, they both inflate and stay inflated fine. Could it really be the bladder??
I don't get it. Any help would help.
Also, don't know if related...my lumbar ALWAYS shoots me in the back everytime I get in the car, I always have to deflate it, everytime. I've tried resetting the seat memory with the lumbar how I want it, but no luck.

Um - stupid question -
did you check on the setting for the Dynamic seat - I think there are 3 settings (soft med and hard ) or something like that - scroll through the menu settings on the dash - I doubt thats it but worth a try or check?

You're seats will not inflate if the pump is bad. You will also see a blinking red light on the pulse button on the bottom of your seat.

Look at the part number in the listing: 2118000148
According to here:
http://www.mbpartsworld.com/p/Merced...008003148.html
That part number is the dynamic seat pump...

Update:
I checked in my trunk over the weekend to check out my pump. It all seems to be fine, connections are tight, I didn't see the cover or anything melting. I opened up the cover and could see the pump. With the pump disconnected the seats obviously didn't work at all.
I reconnected the pump, and I'm able to manually fill all air pockets, but still the dynamic seats barely do anything when I drive.
Could this be the pump?? I just don't get why it would work manually but not dynamically.
