If the MAF is unplugged, I would think injector pulse width would be full rich as a default.

Eurocharged also has a tune , the problem people are facing is that the tune isn't the way it's suppose to be. I don't know the exact parameters of the problem but they are along the lines of IAT's staying above normal (with Clutch) pulley Temps.

OE can no doubt give you the tune too but they'll also have to tweak it out a lot , like these guys are waiting on or maybe they can get it right the first time
only one way to find out

No,
when you unplug your MAF the engines ECU goes into a "limp home mode" on every "modern" car in the world since the mid 90s.

Older cars, like with engines of M119, M104, etc, once the MAF fails or is unplugged, it uses the values of a vacuum-line at the intake mainfold, the (if equipped with EGAS) throttleflap position and fuel-trim values to have some "basic" engine running anyway. With good luck your car wont surge and you could hit RPMS as high as 4500RPM mostly.

Again, MAF failure leads not into a limp mode ike with the EGAS failures, when you have for instance a problem with your ETA/Throttlebody/sensors and you only have a limited back-up pedal way available.
Its rather that the car is then set by ECU into ignition timing and fuel injection duration/timing so you can get to the next shop.

Dunno i dont know how limp-mode is on the M113s. But i doubt much different.

When the The car wont run at all with the MAF plugged, its probably shot. Get a replacement from a good vendor (BOSCH!!!) ASAP and try again.
If its still not running, a tune should help.

I don't know how well the 83 or 80mm tunes are doing, but the 77mm tune needs a lot of work.
I uploaded my original file and put my smaller SC pulley back on and the car is running flawlessly, so its gotta be the software.

Yes he was, but being he's on tour and wont get around to it any time soon I decided to go with the proven setup until he gets the all the bugs worked out for that pulley.

Hey guys, with this fixed pulley iat run hotter at idle. Wouldn't this preheat the heat exchanger and create hotter iats throughout the power band when going wot from a dead stop?

Most likely yes. Especially with stock or only minor improved IAT cooling.

Still, i dont get at all, why the IATs at idle and part-throttle are higher than with a clutched pulley? Shouldn't the bypass flap be pretty wide open during this conditions, avoiding boost and therefor IATs to rise?

Also since there is nowhere an update about the tune or some good review/positive experience about the fixed pulleys, i believe they have found that there is an issue to be solved.
I have decided to wait until next year, before i buy anyone of these.

parts are still spinning so heat is generated, and the heat disperses through the top of the motor... maybe some phenolic spacers may reduce the heat transfer, but you're going to have a warmer S/C housing anyways due to the motion

My car seems to be running well. The tune looks solid but have been chasing a map sensor code... Driveability is aparently good and cruising IATs under 105 with 70-80 degree ambient. 130 on WOT passes with HE and split cooling. I will have a full update in a week and a half but mine seems to be doing well.

Cruising temps still seem high, though. And how many WOT runs are we talking?

Generally, I am seeing ~70* cruising with ambient being ~65* (cooling mods in sig). With two or three WOT runs, temps get to mid 80ish and recover quickly down to mid/low 70s within a minute. I am very happy with the cooling and recovery, even with the clutch pulley upgrade. I am doing the BIP split cooling soon (and hopefully LAST cooling mod, to get that last few drops in IATs) and I am hoping to be at right at ambient or less, ideally, while cruising. For my purposes, I don't need to go any further as I am not a drag racer or do any long back to back pulls.

Case in point, last night my starting point was 68* for intake while ambient was roughly 65ish. I did a quick 20-80 pull through 2nd gear and intake went to 78*, ambient still 65ish. After maybe 40 secs, temps dropped to 68-69*. Another pull to 100, temps went to 77*, dropped again to 67-69* within 30-40 seconds. The recovery is just amazing.

I have yet to see temps reach even close to 100*, even with hard runs.

Having said that, this might all be due to the ambient temps not going over 75 in the last week or so. Car feels like a new animal already and we haven't hit winter yet!

Your cooling seems on point. What are your cooling mods? Due to too many nice (but nearly-NWS and non-kid friendly sig pics), I have disabled sigs in my settings. Makes scrolling easier and loading on a slow connection easier, too.

Currently ... EC HE, Bosch 010, -10C STAR.

I am ordering BIP's split cooling kit soon. That should be the last I'll need for cooling (for my purposes at least).

Only 'heat-adding' mod is the clutched upper blower pulley (84mm) - stock lower.
