Front plate mod, you like?

Front plate mod, you like?
I did not like the way the front plate looked, so I got rid of the plate bracket, shaped my plate, lined it with plenty of duct tape (to protect the bumper), then attached the plate directly to the bumper. What do you think?

AFTER I did not use the regular plate holes for mounting, I drilled two new holes in the middle of the plate, this way I can easily put the bracket back and the two extra holes will never be seen.

Not too bad!!! But I really like the rims, that really finishes the look off perfectly. Only thing you need to do now is reprogram the ECU and lower it!

I vote for no front plate - keep it in the trunk or glove box for when and if you get pulled over. I haven't had a front plate on one of my cars since 1999 and no officer has ever mentioned it!!

Mbprince,
I vote for no plate on the front also (I store mine in the trunk), but what good does having the plate in the trunk do you if you get pulled over? Whether you have the front plate with you or not, the fact that it is not mounted where it legally is supposed to is still a violation.
I guess my rational is that if I ever do get pulled over I can say that I was just on my way to the dealership to have it mounted ...

I like it. I'm all for anything that sets your car apart from the pack. Be it license plate or grille or whatever. As long as it works for you.....the haters can take a walk!
